I believe in freeing people from the constraints placed on them by government so that they can freely pursue their God-given talents and happiness. I believe that freedom advances our state and country by allowing the people to choose what's best for them. I trust in you to choose your own health plan. I trust in you to run your business better than a government bureaucrat. I trust in parents to choose the best schools for their children and for locals to control how our schools are run, not Tallahassee or Washington insiders. I trust you to best spend your hard earned money, not politicians in Tallahassee. We are all better served and able to serve one another when we are free to pursue our lives with limited government that respects and represents its citizens.
Florida will continue to strengthen as we build upon our recent economic gains. We must lessen the burden and regulations the government places on innovators and job creators so that they can be free to grow and add jobs to our area. We need to support our growing industry with an educated workforce ready to fill new jobs. Supporting our local schools and empowering families to choose the best educational paths for their children is vitally important. I support creating greater educational opportunities for our children, opportunities that work for them, because a great education is a key to future success.
I promise to be a servant leader that represents you, not the political insiders and party bosses, in Tallahassee. I will work hard to earn your vote and represent you honorably, with authenticity and transparency. I will serve you first and always, with a mission to champion the dignity of people, the power of family and community, restore civility to the process and empower all of us to dream big, and achieve great things. The issues will change, but my principles of honesty, integrity, and treating others the way I’d want to be treated, will not change. My history of civic engagement, taking on tough fights, shows my commitment to fostering community and being close to the people.
